A very good author. Favorite books by him are Power of One and Jessica, but if anyone has any other recommendations I'd like to hear them!
Bryce Courtenay
I don't think a book has ever moved me as much as Bryce Courtenay's "April Fool's Day". It is streets ahead of his other books-- i gave up on him about 5 years ago because the quality of his stories was deteriorating (eh, that's just my opinion). If you like Courtenay's work, April Fools is a must-- just make sure you have a box of tissues nearby because you'll be crying a river.
