xbox flashing red,orange and green

I really need help fixing my xbox Sad

it was modded and work fin but recently it stop playing burn games and know it would boot 3 times and the screen appears blank. When i opened it i notice it was smoking coming from my Nvidia chip. help please

you got a bad problem.

But the Red, Green and Orange lights mean:
Red: something is wrong with the xbox
Green: The xbox is working fine.
Oranage: SOmething is missing from the xbox like (not enough power etc)

All i can give tell you atm.

... and unfortunately for you, opening it (not to mention putting mods in) has probably voided your warranty...

Modding is illegal if you play burned games (not sure... I think it's legal for backing up). Take it back to the shop you bought [the modchip] from, and they should help you. Or just any computer repair shop should do it.

on the 360, it can mean just a cable is loose or something like that i believe. take a look at everything, if it continues, unplug it for a few days, then try it, who knows?

It is toast.

When any electrical component gives off smoke, it is almost always toast....

if u r lucky, it was just the modchip and then depending on what type of chip it was, you might be able to get a new one which works...if it was something integral like the graphics card smoking...bring out your wallet...its time to get a 360 Smile
