hidden?? know how to open it??

wellmy frend have a pen drive.. he brought when he is in India ( what he tell me)
the pen drive have a special feaure thats is he pen drive accually will lock it seft and keep hidden.. i cant found any driver bout he pen drive i just plug in??
based on wha he said.. this is the sytem where software maker use to contol thier product from being counterfied..
but i dont thing it real can some one confirm with me??

Sounds fake. You could search the model number to verify though.

Drivers shouldn't be an issue if you're on a Windows XP machine.

A friend of mine had also such pen.
I don't know hot it works, but I think via the firmware.
Let's say it has a faull capacity of 1024MB. Then you can choose eg 800MB for private. The data is password protected and not visible for users who don't know how to open the protected data. If someone puts the pen into a pc he will see, that 224MB are free. Such things are quite cool.
And as PseudoKnight said: Under Win2k or XP driver's are not a problem.

Ya its possible. and softwares are also available on d net which u can install it on ur pendrive to make the data password protected
