A few days ago i saw this very rusty bike with a small motor what was very loud, i thought a motar bike was coming and i see this guy on a bike going "Vsssssss" it looks stupid but was funny =]
A bike with a motor on it :l
Yeah, everybody wants wheels, and a motor! I remember kids putting playing cards where they would flap against the spokes and sound like a motor.
I have wondered if it was feasible to put a very small motor on a standard bike, without changing the character of the bike, and have it help push up the hills. I guess a moped works essentially like that, but I don't think they feel and look like a standard bike.

You have bikes with small eletric engines, batteries hidden in the frame and the engine somewhat hidden. They just look more bulky than ordinary bikes as the frame needs to be bigger to accomodate the batteries.
In the X communist block of east europe you could find a lot of those things before `89. The bike was cheap, and engines you could find in many places in an industry working society. Another advantage was that you don't need license. You could drive it on the road after you turned 14. (You could not even sit on the car's front seat if you were smaller than 12, and to drive you needed to be 1
Another inconvenient was that more that 90% of the population was working in three shifts called 1, 2 and 3 (
). First meant from 7 am to 2 pm. Most worked in the 1st shift, and in the morning the bus were crowded. I don't think you understand what 'crowded' in that period meant (neither do I).
So with one litter of gas you could go free on a lonely road to work with no headache
