nice. not a fan of the red either. i also don't really like the cloud in the background. it feels just a little too busy with that, the outline, the stripes and the dots. just my opinion though. other than that, pretty good.
Okay, this is jsut my personal opinion as I'm not really a fan of scanlines or dots, you really don't need to lsiten. 
but using the scanlines and dots seems to be going rather overboard on effects. also, consider setting your scalines to a lower opacity softlgiht and erasing them off Kobe? I think that would perhaps create a nicer, more striking image.

nice design....I think the green doesnt work in the background...
The yellow and blue are good combination on his uniform, so should
pick a colour that compliments that.
If you want a slick tech look try a blue, or for something dark and aggressive, red with a bit of black in it. I don't think the dots quite work but the lines are cool., the type is good too.

Its ok but kobe needs to be blended to a different background it just dont blend well with the curent background. And it really needs a light source!
