thx for the good tutorials, but the latest version is Flash MX 2004, would somethg be different?

Quite good explaining the strenghts of flash, but for more advanced tutorials, you should visit http://www.flashkit.com, you can download sounds, music, and even the sources from the tutorials. So visit Flashkit! 
that's nice tutorial but i'm still having hard time learning flash,,,,, 
Hello, I'm taking a flash class this summer and I'm now almost done with the 8th week. I'm hopful to pulish my pages on this hosting service. I've learned the basics of flash, read a whole two inch book and completed the tutoral for that book. But I still have more pratice to go. As everything online it takes forever!

when you feel ready to take a step towards more advanced tutorials, try the head tutorials menu.

The best way to start is by making some stuff yourself, not neccesary a super game with kilometers of code, but something easy as making a clock as an example. I learned all i know by making something myself, and by flashkit.
So...you should try understanding actionscript (flash's script language), before starting, then make something!
