Controversial mufti back!!

RiCtee
The comments are made in a Cairo TV interview by Sheikh Taj al-Din al-Hilali - same person that likened women to "uncovered meat", suggesting them responsible for rape a while ago. I see there's another topic on this.

Quote:
"Anglo-Saxons came to Australia in chains, while we (Muslims) paid our way and came in freedom. We are more Australian than them. Australia is not an Anglo-Saxon country — Islam has deep roots in Australian soil that were there before the English arrived," Sheikh Hilali said.

This guy has the worst History knowledge ever. Even Year 9 student can prove this wrong. Not all Anglo-Saxons came as convicts - there are free settlers, government officials, skills labour, etc. If he hate Australia so much, why doesn't he go back to where he came from?

So does Aborigines practice Islam?? No evidence at all.

Quote:
On the gang rapes in Sydney, he said: "A young man can meet a woman, smile, arrange a meeting, and then end up in jail for 65 years. (Bilal Skaf was sentenced to 55 years, reduced to 38 on appeal.)

"He was judged in the name of bin Laden. He deserved to be jailed, no question, but for 65 years? This is not really about the crime, it is about racial prejudice."

Yea rite...this man has no sympathy or honour to women at all.

Full article here.

P/s: I would really like to know what Muslims think of his comments.

The Australian government is giving this bull headed man too much grace to continue residing in the country and spreading more BS. If he has so much to complain about his country of residence, why not go back to where he came from or leave. At least he 'may' have some of his own supporters that think alike backing him up. Why did he leave his country if it was all so great? I'd do a background search on him, but he's just not worth any effort.

Jail for rape crimes are just to mild. At least my country which is a Muslim nation practice stroking/beating with a ratan cane + long jail terms. To me, anything less than having the rapist's penis cut off or their eyes dug out is mild sentence. Since they have forcefully taken the dignity (and many other things) from their victim, their penis/eyes should be forcefully taken from them. They have no respect for others, should we respect them? The current sentences are obviously too lenient to their minds, so much so that it fails to deter them from carrying out their henious, perverted, and barbaric crimes.

"This is not really about the crime, it is about racial prejudice". If I remeber correctly, the victim is caucasian. What racial prejudice BS is he talking about?

Free speech applies to all, even the radicals no one wants to hear from and unfortunatley they are the ones heard from the most and the loudest. But the up side is that free speech applies to us all, and as long as people shout one idea, we all have the right to say the opposite. Unfortunatley, as much as we may want, we don't have the right to kick someone out simply for saying things we disagree with. Listen to Michael Savage http://www.homestead.com/prosites-prs/ sometime. He spouts some of the most rediculous things I've ever heard.

I know that Australia doesn't have a bill of rights, but these basic rights are implied in the legislation and supported by common law. http://www.aph.gov.au/Library/pubs/rn/2001-02/02rn42.htm

Such Muslims practice free speech in Australia, or perhaps America, but refuse to grant it to others.

I remember Muslim intolerance against cartoon representations of Mohammed.

Free Speech and Free Religion should be enforced in all countries that are in the UN -- as they've all signed up for Universal Human Rights. But the anti-American UN also accepts, and thereby encourages, Muslim hypocricy.
