Firefox Userprofiles

For some unknown reason and at any time firefox tells me, that that profile "Standard" is already in use, and I should choose another one or create a new one. So this time my Dad used the pc and the message appeared. He amde a new profile and got standard homepage, standard bookmarks noe extensions and everything I ever changed.
Now I want my bookmarks back, but I don't know how. I can't see an option in the menus to change it back.
Does anyone have a tip for me?

I suggest looking at:

You may want to follow the links from that page to the "profile in use" page or the "profile manager" page. I have had similar problems in the past, but do not remember all the details. I hope this helps.
