IBM serveguide lower than version 7.0

Hi there, I am trying to configure and install linux on a IBM netfinity 5600
I need to get hold of the configuration software described below

IBM serveGuide, te version has to be lower than version 7 as 7 and up dont support the netfinity series.

so an help would be much appreciated as I have searched everywhare

I would contact IBM about getting a copy of ServerGuide 6.x They seem only to make the latest version available online for free, but they may be willing to send you a copy of an older version if you ask nicely.

What are you trying to do with the server, btw? Do you just want a server in your basement or do you actually work for a company that needs it?

hi there thank for the reply, I have contacted IBM by phone and they just said they dont support it, and nothing furthur, in addition I have send an email to one of their support office so I will see what they say.

I am searching high and low, I just need this to set up the raid arrys you would not believe hw hard it has been.

I am just setting up a server to use in the basement.
