Website ideas/suggestions - 5frih$ for each

I am thinking of making a new site, so here is my idea :-
The site is going to be related to books and also writing. People can register, and post book reviews and other stuff related to books. Registered users can post comments and also edit the reviews to make them better/to clean out errors etc.
The writing stuff is for those who love to write stories, poems, or whatever, and publish their work online. They can receive feedback for their work, etc.
And so here is where I need your help. I am interested in hearing what you all have to say about this idea, and suggestions on how to improve it/make it better. I also want to know new features that can be used to make the site better,
I am offering 5 frih$ for every good idea, and even more if I really like it.
So keep the suggestions coming!

Sorry for being a bit stingy with frih$, I am saving them up, if I need them in my website project.

Seems a good idea!
But it certainly will take quite a while to build a book reviewing community. Also, there are many sites currently running on the same theme such as

How about you add a favourites system for registered users, then maybe they could have on teh homepage a random user's favourites.

I don't know if the writers will love to publish their work and so everybody can copy it. On the other hand, your site would not be very succesfull if you have to register to view stories. Maybe create an image with text in it (easy in PHP)

Well Wikipedia already have a library of online books and that is called Wikibooks

Having a forum is a good idea because people who are interested on writing poems, stories or whatever could communicate and share there thoughts by just simply posting.

You could have an online catalog system for your website too. (Powered by PHP and MySQL) Smile
