Islamic theology identifies Mohammed as the “Primal Point”? What is the Primal Point and how does it differ from divinity?

Woops, I seem to have the Baha'i faith confused with Islam. While it goes back to legends surrounding the 12th Imam of the Shi'a, after some research it seems to be most just a title they invented for their own leader in the mid-1800's.

But that brings up the question, I know that Islam refers to both the return of Jesus AND Mohammed. I also read in a Hadith that at the end times the people would try to find a Redeemer and they would go through a loing list of people, starting with Moses and ending with Jesus, and none would be able redeem the people until finally the people had found the return of Mohammed.

So if Mohammed is the Redeemer, what is the point of Jesus coming back, why bother? And what does it mean for Mohammed to be the Redeemer?

(Now this terminology is in the foot notes of the copy of the Qur'an I have, so I know that this comes from traditional Islam.)
