Using smarty here at FriHost.

{name here}
Well, there are quite a few CMSes that choose to use smarty in their templating design. One of the more famous ones is siteframe. There's quite an easy way to get smarty on the server and to start using it:
1) Download smarty from smarty.php.net
2) Extract smarty locally
3) Compress the libs directory in tar.gz format
4) Upload it via directadmin or cPanel to the directory of siteframe or whatever.
5) Extract smarty's libs into a directory called "smarty" or "libs" or whatever.
6) In the home directory of the CMS, add this to your .htaccess:
Code:

php_value include_path ".:./libs"

Remember to change it to whatever your include path is. Now you have smarty working for your CMS that requires it.
