I am currently looking for a host for my game that I am creating, and its nothing big as I don't spend millions on teams and websites... 1 person.

Its a top-down space shooter, 3 levels and its still in beta form so if you download it expect bugs. Freeware. Thank you and please post here if you wish to comment.

wow....thos were some really good graphics! That is one of the best game maker games I've ever played! Do you have any other games....(I want more! Very Happy ) But seriously...that was cool can't wait until it's finished...

Yes, I know of another game that is like that, but the programmer has way more experience.
Its a Real Time Strategy, but you need a good graphics card at very least 64. Its great, I love it, and its not even done yet.

Yes, and on the Game Maker Community(Accessible by clicking icon in top right on link-page), you can find hundreds of things to do. Talk about Game Maker Games in their thread, talk about Game Maker, Look at Game Maker Games and Works in Progress, Find hundreds of thousands of sound files ranging from OGG to MIDI, find graphics from 1x1 to 3200x3510...
Ya, So I have plenty to do. That game you tried, Battleships forever, was not made by me, but the creator thanks you for playing it.
He has quite a bit more experience in Game Maker than me.
I also have dated my game to finish around June-August.

I'm making a game in flash called teddy town. No need for a link though it'll big news once its out :) . My friend uses game maker though. Hes had some expeirence in top down and isometric. I personaly didn't ever understand game maker though. :?

Well right now they are nearing the release of GM7, and Game Maker is merging with YoYo Games(I'm not liking it that much...), but you get lots of free services from inside Game Maker. That BattleShips forever game is updated nearly every week, now their is powerups, Raid and blockade mode, gun changes, and other new things. I just love it, but if you have 64MB memory card you should turn surfaces off from the options menu. Also download the music pack at least once for music.

Yes, My game is also coming along, I'm soon going to implement a death thing and also I am nearing completion of one of the stages in the new battle arena. You won't believe how many variables I need for zephyr's All range mode object... Its got things like this

Well, if you think thats complex(For one instance) check this out: I could probably break this up into 4 instances and it would 10x shorter, but I like it better in one instance. Note, I am a somewhat experienced-advanced programmer with Game Maker, this is GML, or Game Maker Language. Its translated into C+/-/# or whatever before its executed by the comp... SO its a bit slower, but this code is in the draw event so its drawn on the screen every step:
