Anybody know of any decent software i can prefereably download to put MP3 tags to my old music that clearly doesnt have MP3 tags.
Did think i-tunes did it, but doesnt seem to be the case for me?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.....
Start going insane if i keep answering my own questions - just stumbled across a german site called MP3tag.de, which has an english section that seems to do what i need - anybody used this and is t worth having a go with?
In Windows you can right-click an .mp3 file, go into properties, click Advanced, and you can put the tag info there.
win media player has a built in tagging ...for your music files....
Tag & Rename (Windows) is by far the best tagging/renaming application available. I've tagged well over a thousand albums with this program. For creating folder structure I use Windows Explorer and/or Foobar2000.
audacity with a specific dll can tag nicely
I use Cantus

I use EasyTag in linux or windows
http://easytag.sourceforge.net/
very, very good
The GodFather... It's Freeware... and the best in Mp3 Tag editing... using it from the past 3 years... Very Intutive interface.. but have options to do everything for the mp3 tags.. Auto Renaming, Auto Track Indexing, Batch Editing, Built In Player, All tag formats supported....
