As always: w3schools and hotscripts are good...
W3schools is the best site ever for HTML I learned it in oh about 3 days with their tutororials. They have some others but im not too fond of them. Im working on Xhtml from their site right now. Go there...... i promise its worth your time for html.after reading their tutorial going over it for 3-4 days i was able to fully Code without anything but the code in a text editor. IT works i promisE!

that list is simply terrific. you can find a lot of good stuff in those websites
A great starting place, if nobody has mentioned it (though I'm sure someone has) is w3schools. They have a lot of web starter tutorials.

www.pixel2life.org they have so much stuff there, you can get help on very specific stuff...I use it for help on flash and fireworks, and photoshop depending on what I'm doing
