I need something cheap that can connect my SD card to my Computer so I can put some files onto it. Can anyone help? Thanks

Many cam´s and tel´s support the disk function for connect to the PC, check if your device is compatible with it.
Yes, that is the best thing. I am sure you must be having something for whuch you bought the SD card in the first place (maybe some camera?). If you hook up your camera to the computer using USB or Firewire, you will see that the SD card is recognized as an external storage device by Windows.
