Its probably difficult and probably not legal. Ask the .tk ppl instead.
i'm currently using .tk too and yeah it sucks but after all the possibilities i could think of! i gave up. hehehe
Perhaps just upgrade it? It's only $6.95.

I'm fairly certain that you cannot remove the .tk favicon image because the way .tk does it, is it loads your site into a frame that is 100%x100% of the browser window. Since it's in a frame, I don't think anything you place on your pages will change it.
