Hi everyone

I have just got a TomTom One Uk version but it doesnt seem to register. It loads up the handprint on the first screen but it just sits on that. I left it for 45mins at one point incase it was having troubles getting a connection as I live in the middle of nowhere! Is there something wrong with it or am I missing something here???

You could very well have a faulty unit, as even if it cannot receive a satellite signal you should still get the map display up. Take it back to where you purchased it from, or even get a software update for it.

Hey, thanks for the help, the shop i bought it from said it was faulty so got a new one which has loaded up instantly! It's such a great little gadget although on the way home it tried to send me up a 'no left turn' road hehe! But it seems to have loads of features and the map is really detailed. What a clever little thing!
