About the layout:
it's fine, the font of the menu is cool. I would suggest to put the floating window somwhere else. Or better: make it stay still Very Happy

Your site is good to see, even in English.

The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't work correctly with my Firefox browser, but with InternetExplorer there's no problem to surf on your web.

oh, yes, I know about incorrect work in Firefox..I've written code by myself and checked only in Opera and IE...
I'll try to remake it for Firefox too...By the way,what version do you use?

Your site looks really nice from here, I'm viewing it in firefox too and didn't have any problems seeing it. Have you corrected the problem with Firefox already? I don't read Russian so I don't have a single clue what your site is about, but I'm really curious about the picture of the hand painted bottles on the front page.

Are you an artist? The bottles / vases looked really neat, my cousin does similar work with gourds and other little things. Except she usually makes them into little snow men or holiday themed pieces and then sells them at the fair and makes pretty good money doing it.

If you need a proof reader for the english version of your site, let me know and I'd be glad to give you a little help with it. While your english is good, it sometimes seems a little awkward - completely understandable.

I liked your site especially the image at the top. I would make that a wallpaper if it was bigger. Where you looking for any help from anyone on the forum to help make your site better ? Do you ebay or sell any of your pieces on that site ? I could not read it since I am still only reading English. I was just wondering Smile

Unfortunately, I was very busy to correct my site for Firefox browser...Honestly speaking, I've never used this browser...So, I have to download it at first:)) But it's a good news, that you saw my site without troubles=)
Yes, I'm an artist:) It's my hobby Smile i like painting, photography and handmade things:) So, my site is devoted to my hobby...It's my little gallery and a place, where I can sell my things:)

I have checked out your site now you have the English version and like it a lot more now I can read what it is saying in my own laguage so thanks for that. Smile

I hope you don't mind but I have written a suggestion of how the home page should be written to read fluently in English. Please don't think I am trying to put down the great work you have done.

If you word the page the way I have it will read as if written by an native English speaker, there are some obvious and some subtle changes that make a big difference to how the page reads to an English speaker - I hope you like what I have done.

If not don't worry, just don't use it in that case. Smile

Good luck with the site. And don't forget to keep coming back and take an active part in the great forums here.

I must check that page out! Also, I speak russian, being Lithuanian.
The only disadvantage is writing the "N" in english. I sometimes write it backward as if writing the russian character that is pronounced "ee".

I think it's quite scary how the mention of a girl or a pretty face in an avatar attracts so many people. I only looked at this thread because it had two pages and a poll, which I thought was quite impressive for the Introductions forum.

Anyway, Evgenia, welcome to FriHost - judging by your posts I think you'll have a great time here, and I think you'll be a real asset to the community, making quality posts even when you don't need to for hosting.

Your website is good, however I don't like the use of a custom cursor; furthermore it doesn't work over the guest book which is quite unprofessional. You should change the page titles on the English version of your website because it's not English Razz. Your website is well structured and easy to navigate, although I don't especially like the buttons - but that's just my opinion. Oh, I just noticed that some of the buttons in your menu are cut off at the sides (they have straight edges) - this doesn't look too good; the "Another projects" button should say either "Another project" or "Other projects" - whichever you prefer.
