I just installed a second SATA barracuda 7200.10 320Gb HD in my pc - and it wasnt hard.

Slave/master is only for ATA drives. - once you've plugged it in you have to enable it in your bios, and then you can handle the rest using winXP...

If you need more specific help, please ask and i will do my worst Wink

Your motherboard usually has 2-4 (or more) SATA connectors. Just plus the other drive in & attach the power cable and the system will do the rest. It gets recognised automatically.

In XP afterwards : partition it & make it readable - format (in system)

You have to activate it in the bios, manually :/
