Recently I bought my copy of NFS-Carbon.
I have 1GB of RAM and a 6600GT card with a Pentium 4 2.4GHz processor.
The minimum requirements were below my system but when I run the game it run with a default resolution of 640*480.
And when I change it to just 800*600 the game lags and after completing a level while going to next level the PC hangs.
I haven't been able to find out what is wrong....does anyone of my forum friends have faced this issue???
The system requirements they write are almost always wrong.. so i never look at them
* Have you updated the drivers for your graphic card?
* Enough free space on the system hdd.
the worst thing is it doesn't even allow any onboard gpu to work with it. even dark messiah works perfectly with it!

Hello.
System requirements are overestimated, but business not in the processor and quantity of operative memory.
My friend had a situation on similarity.
The matter is that this game supports not all videocards, the exact list I do not remember, saw on offitsialnom a site of game.
Instead of experience, you will lose nothing if will not play in this game

i dont have a dammm clue why it laggs. I use 1GB Ram, nvidia geforce fx 5200, Pentium 4 2.8Ghz. It does not lagg on me and i play it on 1024*786. I put the graphics to the high settings but it is still lame on some parts.
Try and change the refresh rate of the screen and see what happens.
