Extract fonts from PDF files

brweb
Hi,
I got a PDF file from a friend and I want to copy that content to my HDD for editing, but the contents cannot copy. Sad

I have selected text tool and copy the sected text and open notepad and pasted but I get BAD texts looks like machine language....

I think that fonts are different, so is there any way to extract fonts from PDF files..

Or, any other way to copy that text to word or notepad ?

Help me...

i got the same thing when i tried to copy a password protected document ... maybe that's the cause in your case ... you should try convert it to a doc file with this program: PDFBox

You can't copy/past text from PDF-files. You have to use a tool that converts PDF to another format like text or HTML.

For example: http://www.verypdf.com/pdf2txt/pdf2txt.htm or http://www.pdf2txt.com/

Or try to google for "pdf2txt": http://www.google.com/search?q=pdf2txt&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:nl:official&client=firefox-a
