A custom one. When you click the image, it takes you to a page that has a simple php include switch based on a set variable. The add to cart button is just a paypal buy now button that sends an ipn to my server so it emails them the invoice & file How are you doing this? A simple HTML code?

the most user friendly cms should be a blog rather than a cms, wordpress performs well,
however for cms: drupal, joomla, mambo, textpattern

SEO needs to be done Server side, HTML works client side only.

i've done some things already with .htaccess and did do some submissions to search engines in the past but the sitemap would be good will this be available to users on my site, i mean apart from the search bots being able to see this will humans see it too(or can i put it in my menu somehow)? This post is 6 months old, you should rather contact the topic starter than to post here!

I do most of the SEO for me site myself including everything you mentioned, so I don't need the bulk of your services. What I am interested in is the rss search engine submissions, directory submissions (if you do those), and social bookmarking submissions (again, if you do those) because you can never have enough of those

seriously i was very messed with my exams coming up... i took a look at your site its quite search engine friendly, except for the file names and categorization... i think sitemaps, file renaming, resubmission should be fine... you will have to add your site to google webmasters to manage it better..
i have now sent you the quote...Its been i while i've been meaning to do the renaming of all the files but i never got around to it... I can easily take care of this if your too busy with your exams. I have a small prob though before i had a different domain a .co.nr which i had done all my search engine submissions for. I did a 301 redirect when i changed my domain to .co.cc but then i changed domain again to the one i'm currently using .eu.org
Anyway now for some reason even though i'm doing the 301s to the .eu.org i don show up on google anymore when i used to be 3rd. its been a while since the change so i dont know if i did something wrong but i never resubmited, so maybe this will fix things...
Let me know when your available and btw whats google webmasters? Is it like a paid service that has a monthly fee? We are a non-profit organization so we try to keep our costs pretty low for the time being. Anyway hope to hear from you soon!

you may have to do a resubmission, but this is advisable only after all SEO techniques have been applied, so that Google indexes the final content...

Google Webmasters is very very useful tool for analyzing and maintaining search engine rankings... (sitemaps, diagnostics, keyword positions and so on..) and like the rest of Google.. its the best and its free
however as a preliminary examination results... change the site link in the footer (it still reads .co.nr), contact page is 404ed, fix that...
i'll continue the inspection (which is much hampered by crappy exams...) please check this site and tell me how much.

anyway i did the renaming of the files and i separated words with a hyphen ( - ) as i saw that there were mixed feelings about the underscore ( _ ). i changed the footer to read .eu.org and i never saw that the contact page was 404ing but let me know if theres anything else i can do in the mean time.

I'm sorry i dint really get that, can you please arrange that in chronological order... , i mean can you exactly tell me from what domain you shifted to where...
And i suppose the renaming of files, broke the menu links in the navigation bar... check this out immediately. Do a through check for 404s and etc.
Your site got a PR3, congrats... I had to struggle with SEO for almost an year before google gave me a PR3, you got it immediately, even with duplicate domain, and 404s, and other errors... So i believe google is really liking your content.
So check all errors for 404s, and make sure there are no more that 25 external links... and mark them rel="external" if you can. I'll take a detailed look at your site from a SEO point-of-view, very soon..
btw, why do i feel i'm doing the consulting for free...

Alex let us speak of the great history of What's Your Impact... first there was .co.nr then i realized that url cloaking/masking was bad (seo wise) so i found the .co.cc this worked fine but and like i said the 301 redirection happend right away and the .co.nr didnt show up when i googled "What's Your Impact" all the while keeping my ranking 3rd (or 4th something high enough). but then i realized that our website was now ending with cocc!
so i changed to the .eu.org and then lots of problems ensued... including not figuring out how to correctly setup the dns (since i had to get my own dns hosting as well) then not being able to fix the redirection from the 2 old domains. anyway long story but i just googled "What's Your Impact" and i saw that now the .eu.org is there 4th under the .co.nr! i dont know if this is bad but i hope this can be fixed eventually.
ok so i hope this answers your question about the domain shuffling! for the 404s i downloaded Xenu's Link Sleuth and cleaned up all the 404s.
for our rating i don't know what PR3 means but our content is unique and its contetn is in my opinion focused. i'm sure it can be better and i know there are ways to optimise our keywords but from the begining i only checked the ranking in google with respect to our name "What's Your Impact". we need to be ranked for other things like co2 calculator/footprint and maybe try for stuff like climate change.
hey you told me to use rel="external" to replace target="_blank" i'm guessing but it doesn't seem to be working.

but it just loads the site in the same page...
about my external links, right now i have about 50 or so external links. lamost all of them are quotes or refferences to reliable reference websites. i've read more than i few times something linke this:

i dont know why you say specifically 25 but the external links i have are either important resources or content that is relevant to my site and are kinda neccesary for the site. let me know how we can proceed for this.
