Free Antivirus Program?

Hello People,

Is there a good, free antivirus program for Windows that also provides free updates?

If not, can anyone tell me which would offer me the best value-for-little-money? Razz

I've been using it for probably a year now and love it. Auto updates, good detection of threats, and best of all it's free. You only need to register on their site to get an activation code. There is also a Linux Home Edition, although I haven't personally tried it.

Realy good antivirus....but i think AVG is a good and easy antivirus too...

I agree with most reply. AVG anti virus is the far best free antivirus program. i gives a free update with good security to outgoing email..

I've used both AVG and Avast! and found them both simpler to use than Norton. The interfaces are much cleaner and clearer.
