Starting to learn PHP

I'm starting to learn PHP.. and all i know right now is HTMl only..

Do you think i would understand the PHP?
Should i learn something else before i go on PHP?

You'll do fine, I didn't know any other web languages before learning PHP other than a bit of HTML either. I think you probably will understand PHP, I do and I'm only 12.

Php is one of the best scripting language to work n also for learn, its easy and simple.
I am web developer and worked around 2 years in Php, jsp and java.
You can start Php from these simple tutorial.
