php question: Fill in the Blanks?

guissmo
Code:
//database variables
$host = 'localhost';
$user = '';
$pass = '';
$dbname = '';

What do I fill in these? I'm not really sure and I want a certain script to work.
Animal
You need to create a new database in DirectAdmin.
The username ($user) will be guissmo_anything you like <-- Defined when you create the database.
The password ($pass) will be whatever password you specify.
The database name ($dbname) will be guissmo_anything you like <-- Defined when you create the database.

EDIT:

Quote:
Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at guissmo.frih.net.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Now I get this error. Is this NOT connected to what I just did?

Try again. You've probably just been caught in the server's Apache restart that happens at 30 mins past every hour. Nothing to worry about - just hit refresh a few times. Smile

Got it. Okay. Thanks again! Very Happy
