Well, I just got my sony handycam, and it uses Digital Video Cassettes. Can someone tell me what a good converter is from the cam tape, to a windows computer video file. It has the A/V cords, is there a converter I can just plug those into, and then plug that into my computer. Or a cord a can get along with a program

Does your handycam have any sort of USB or firewire port? If so then you should be able to connect your pc up to the camers and rip the video using windows movie maker or a similar program.

Thanks. I just got that figured out. There's something called AUTO VIDEO that does it from the SONY SOFTWARE
