i recently installed devil may cry 3 on my pc but whenever i try to start the game, i get an error message. is it because of my graphics card? i have an intel 128MB 82945G chipset.

Intel only makes crap video cards. I'd be astounded if you could ever run a game like DMC3 on one.
Yeah, look at some cards on newegg or tigerdirect, they have some pretty good prices.
