yes it's pity, nightwish is a realy cool band. goth metal with opera vocal - interesting music.

I like the music, but I'm new to that kind of music (usually techno/trance) So can anyone tell me bands that sound similar? btw: the solo album of Tarja is also great

This may just be a rumor, but I heard that Simone Simons of Epica might be replacing Tarja. I hope it's true because Simone has an incredible voice. She's much better than Tarja in my opinion. It should be great!
Well i like some nightwish songs, but i generally find their music overrated and dull. But they have some very good songs never the less. I just don't like the image the socalled "goths" give the band.
not really my scene but some of my friends listen to them... they speak highly!
