Trojan horse (generic)

My antivirus program, has deleted this trojan horse plenty of times, but it always come back:

trojan horse downloader.generic2.MUZ

Has anyone others got this trojan horse to? Its impossible to delete it.

It also always got alot of updates, like:

!update-4295[1].0000

and

!update.exe

Note: Im using AVG 7.5 free version

Sounds like something's reinstalling itself when you restart. Have you tried booting into safe mode and scanning / removing it from there?

To do so, reboot your computer and hit F8 before windows starts to load. Select "safe mode" from the list then log in.

OMG these trojans don't know when to quit.... i use avg, and it's picking up heaps of them every day, they all have now got new names and numbers. like 3-4-5-6 generic... i use avg 7.5 and it seems to be alright..... but i really have no idea.

You may also have luck getting rid of a trojan with an antispyware product as well. I like Spybot but some prefer Ad-Aware. Its important to try and remove the trojan in Safe Mode, though, so follow Animal's advice about that too. Good luck.
