Many pagans are celebrating the solstice today (21st) although the true solstice is tomorow.
I'll be have a private rite tomorow. My cellebration will be on Sunday, mid-winters day, when all the family comes to my home. It's become a tradition in our family that everyone comes to me on mid-winter and it's a time I love and really look forward to.
I'll decorating a conifer tree tonight and the sitting room will be decorated with greenery and decorations tomorrow morning.
I hope you all have a joyous solstice, and tell us how you cellebrated it. /|\
Haha, kinda sadly funny that this thread didnt get any replies, atleast untill now. Seems not many people know whats goin' on, but Im not shocked by that, this doesnt seem a place where there would be many satanists or pagans. Ive had the urge to "party" since then, meaning me getting some one on one fun because all my other friends are christian enough that drinking and merry making to the longest nights seems "wierd" for them. All in all, I love the winter for the long nights, and this winter is very mild and good for any celebrations especially held outside.
Greets dude, hope your celebrations went well.
Stanists are not the same as pagans.
This is the time of the longest night. After mid-winters day each day will be a little longer than the last. a great reason to cellebrate. Tonight I'll be having a quiet ritual. I'll write about it all later. Make sure you cellebrate the return of the sun in your own way. And tell me about it.

I know that satanists are not the same, but many of them also celebrate the equinoxes and solstices and some other special days (all depends on the way of the satanist, either the symbolic or the teistic, symbolic meaning not worshipping and entity and teistic meaning worshipping an entity, im the first kind, the symbolic satanist). Maybe I dont celebrate it as a ritual or anything, I just try to have some fun in the "darkest" day of the year, both to celebrate it and the upcoming days of "light". Cheers dude, have fun
Happy Holidays.
While I celebrate and do my personal rituals on the Corss-Quarter Days, The winter holidays are an important time of year for friends and family.
93!
I had a wonderful Yule rite. I am glad to be back on these boards, it has been a while. And it is about time that various pagan traditions starting speaking more here.
93!/93!
I did, at 2:08pm precisely, with a few puffs shared with my brother and step-brother. Thanks for the thought and I belatedly extend my best wishes as well.
Happy Yule to you too! (Sorry for the late reply.) I don't celebrate the solstice but I do celebrate Yule. We had all the trimmings and trappings and good family fun. I even managed to find some naturally growing mistletoe to spruce up the home for the holidays. The festivities will actually continue over the New Year which is a much bigger festival here in Japan.
Frith,
