Simon is my favourite. Because no one else can beat that sarcasm
Simon is always good if your in a i want to see people get torn down mood 
I really hate watching these so called reality TV shows. However once in a while I'll catch American Idol and found to enjoy Simon the most. His snide comments tearing these hopeful singers that are truely bad are amusing.
You're all in luck, then, as American Idol is about to start its sixth season.
I enjoy Simon. I'd like to see the judges actually deviate from the script on occasion. They are now such archetypes, their comments are completely predictable. Randy is very knowledgeable and if the performance is bad: "it was just okay for me dawg." If good, "you da bomb." If Paula doesn't think the performance was good, she will compliment the contestant's hair or outfit.
Has anyone else notice that other country's with Idol shows all pick similar types for judges: the nasty British one; the loopy girl judge; the smart, musical black one.
