Wodden Text (Photoshop Tutorial)

Open new doc
1.make new layer over background , name it wood and fill it with white
2.filter>noise>add noise 40 gaussian monocromatic
3.Filter>blur>motion blur angle =0 , distance = 15-30
4.click ctrl+u an dset hue =30 sat =50 lightness= -35
5.Go liquify (ctrl+shift+X) select twirl tool (press C for shortcut ) start painting whole layer to create some curves
6.create text with type tool (t) and resterize it (layer >resterize)
7. Place it below wood layer
8. make sure wood layer is selected press ctrl+g ( layer will get painted over text )
9. select text layer add stroke of 2 pixel in black color ( edit>stroke)
10.add little drop shadow if you want

Wow, that's actually really nice. I've seen a lot of wood tutorials before, and they usually look pretty fake, but this one looks really good. Awesome work man Very Happy
