The search continues for two other climbers who have been lost on Mt. Hood for a week or so, but the body of one of them - Kelly James - was found yesterday.
Frank James, the older brother of the dead climber, is someone I know and respect from when I lived in Orlando, FL. He was an elder in my church, and is currently the president of Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando (as well as a professor of church history and an expert on Peter Martyr Vermigli). His wife, Carolyn, is a good theologian, too, and is the author of When Life and Beliefs Collide.
Although I never met Kelly, my heart goes out to Frank and Carolyn, and to the others who are still awaiting the outcome of the continued search.
