Is all PageRank zero?

I have looked around a bit but I can't find any .frih.net site that have PageRank above zero. I don't know how this PageRank....

Has all frih.net sites the same rank zero? If you know any site thats not zero post i here. If you hae an answer post that too. Razz

To have a page rank (other than zero) one must have some quality backlinks. It depends on the no. of backlinks you have from other sites not on your domain name (frih.net)

Ok maby I shouldn't think about the PageRank. If I make a good site more people want to se it.
But I havn't seen any page hosted here without zero. Microsoft have PageRank zero so it can't be importent then. =)

Who told you Microsoft has a pagerank 0?
Do you think all sites on the Internet have a zero pagerank? Its crap

Even my site have pagerank of 6.

Microsoft have a page rank of 10 by the way. see the screenshot below:-


I don't know which tool u r using to check the pagerank. But I would check page rank from http://prchecker.info/check_page_rank.php or http://www.checkpagerank.com/ or install google toolbar which will let to see the pagerank of any website you visit.

Okej... I tyoed in www.microsoft.com but then it change to http://www.microsoft.com/en/us/default.aspx and that page have PageRank 0. Surprised

I use the google toolbar. I installed it today so I haven't learn all yeat. What is your page then?

Wll the page rank is only for specific url that have backlinks. http://www.microsoft.com have backlinks from other sites and Microsoft is redirecting that url. That's why google toolbar is not showing any pagerank for it.

I have sold my pr6 site now. I am running http://www.searchengineoptimizationtips.be which is page rank 4 which is hosted here. You can read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PageRank if you want to know more abt pagerank.

I feel a bit confuced wen I treid the link ( http://prchecker.info/check_page_rank.php ) that manumiglani gave us.
http://drums.frihost.net/ has 0 with google toolbar but three with that page. If I change the url to to http://www.drums.frihost.net/ then both show zero. But I think it showed six before with google toolbar Question Question Question

Doesn't metter! Maby some virus on google toolbar or is it very slow updating ? Or is it never update sometimes? I don't know Confused

It's definately a situation that the designers should look into. In particular I wasn't satisifed with the support I received when I encountered a similar problem!

Hello Peterssidan,

Google pagerank is for specified url's. So, they see http://www.anysite.com and http://anysite.com diffrently and assign page rank depending upon the no. of backlinks to http://anysite.com and http://www.anysite.com

May be try reinstalling google toolbar.............
