Which do you prefer ASP,ASP.NET,PHP,JSP?
hello guys! i just like to have a survey for the most web language used for the web development.. please express your opinion and please vote for the poll.
I prefer PHP because its Open-Source (?) and it's easy to use. And, it runs very well on my server both on FriHost and my testserver in my room with Solaris. But I haven't tried ASP so I'm not quite sure how good it is.
Me too I prefer using PHP because its easy to use, flexible and loads fast than ASP. Also PHP is much more popular than ASP, plus its open source.
i prefer PHP but you've completely forgotten to have JSP as an option, even though the title of the thread contains JSP... 
php, its a very dynamic and vast language to use for development
i have to say php but anyway i've never really ever used asp or asp.net

PHP for sure. For some reason it just clicks as a language for me.
I also love the easy definition of variables.
It's also open source (which is worth more than anything else in my mind).

PHP anyday. It's preprocessed while ASP is compiled. It loads much faster than ASP. But over all, It's Open Source, FOSS rocks anytime!

I definitely prefer php to any other web language. ASP is a windows copy of php/js and js is not always useful. Javascript is good through in many cases when actual dynamic content is required, though for most cases (except games) php can do most things javascript can. Also, php has the database ability which allows to be manipulated thoroughly. Javascript and PHP are both neccessary scripting languages, though in the end I prefer PHP, mostly because I don't know very much javascript.

PHP is the best..... I mean, who doesn't know about PHPBB?
PHP is the best. I think it is one of the easier ones to learn for programming dynamic web pages. And many of the web applications out there utilises PHP.
