I have watch a few korean serial of family love. This one does have a very nice combination of sacrificial love, intense vengence on wrong of the past, and a long running serial.
The main problem with korean serials are that they often ends abruptly and saddening.
All the "good" people seems to end up dead (the blind mother died in a gas explosion, the female lead actor in a road accident, etc).
It seems to express a sense of pessimistic feeling of korean serials.
Good storyline, soul moving friendship and caring love of married couples. Little kissing scenes. A sad ending.
I wonder if this pessimistic feeling is a national trend, just like "super heroes" feeling of the US?
