Ftp uploading help

I have tried many different free host and every time I try to upload I can't get the graphics. How do I load the full web page with the graphics and everything? Do you need to use paid hosting for graphics. I haven't used FriHost yet because i need to post a couple times so would someone help me? I am currently using Microsoft Office Front Page 2003.

No, you do not need a paid host for graphics.

I have never used Front Page 2003, although I do have it. You need to upload your images like you would your webpage.
You can embed the pictures into your page (if you are coding it yourself) using the following code:

<img src="http://www.yoursite.frih.net/image.gif"/>


There are a number of other tags that you could use, like:

align="", border="", alt="",

align puts your picture where you want. Available options are left, center and right
I usually use border so the image will have no border
the text in alt is used when the image cannot display

So, your code could be something like this:

<img src="http://www.yoursite.frih.net/image.gif" align="left" border="0" alt="Go Home"/>


However, frontpage will probably be able to embed the picture for you very easily.

Thank you for replying to my message. I did try it and it does work. Thank you for the advice. Oh, and Can u close this thread? That is all i needed to know. I can get the picture on it is just when i try to upload it and I visit the website the picture is now viewable. Note: I haven't used FriHost yet Wink

Erm .... OK, but now I'm a little confused as to how you've already tried to upload it as you only request hosting a few hours ago Shocked
