Hey I was wondering a few things.

First,

Is it possible to change what editor you edit your files in? I am using SmartFTP for my FTP. I was wondering if I was able to change what I edit my files in.

If not,

Does anybody know a ftp program that allows you to change what editor you use for editing files?

You can use any editor you want for editing files...

Open the editor, edit the files, save the files (locally), upload the files. Easy.

See, I don't like saving, going to that location, and then re-uploading them. With SmartFTP it already opens the file in Notepad, and then it saves it.

FileZilla allows you to choose this.

Well, aceftp do it also. It uses the windows context-menu when right-clicking on the files items. So that you just config which editor you like in windows explorer.

ya FileZilla is the coolest FTP i have ever seen and with u can configure ur file editor. U can configure a default editor in the FileZilla preferences.....or u can also custom set the editors for each file extension.
In FileZilla goto :

edit->settings->interface settings->file viewing/editng
