Question for Macs that run Windows...

We all know by now Macs can boot into Windows. I know that makes them more prone to viruses than just running OSX. The question is if you have gotten a bad that exploited your Windows, would also affect the Mac side as well? Even running on a partition?

Helpful information would glady be appreciated.

it's not the hardware, it's the software. oh, it also depend on hardware sometime, for instance if it infect win 32 bit, it can't infect win 64-bit. but then again, win 32 bit is not the same software as win 64 bit.

No, the virus can only affect the windows coding and not the mac coding. Apple is not stupid and likes to keep their users safe.
