In the past, I've been able to simply login with AceFTP and use passive mode to upload my files. But recently, passive mode is being rejected, and active mode seems to be causing problems. I can get files to upload if I try over and over again, but a lot of times it won't respond to uploading, deleting, moving, etc. files, and it freezes after the program sends the list command, and the list of files never arrives. Have there been any changes to FTP things on server 2 that we should be aware of? Maybe some extra settings we need to do?

FTP in passive mode does now not work, therefore active mode should be used. This may help:

Also, please use the existing topic about FTP problems - there's plenty of info about Passive / Active modes in that particular thread.
