seeing the current form of australia we can predict that australia willl surely lift the world cup this time also....

no doubt there are other teams to compete but no one near australia...

i am a greatest fan of australia so i am sure they will not disappoint me and others fans this time.

it is now high time that oher teams must practice their best to atleast give aussies some competiton....

Its not obvious what this topic is about. I thought 'ccer' was spouting off about Rugby first off (assuming standard ocker self promotion) but they'll be lucky to make the semis next year. Cricket maybe but since Cricket WC's sometimes sport only a handful of teams they're seldom worth getting excited about. I think what we're referrig to is Netball. Its coming up soon, Aussie is a leading contender and it should be a decent competition. Go the ferns!

I think he means in the Cricket. Although, it could also refer to Rugby Union or Rugby League. Football we've got a somewhat small chance of succeeding. Razz

My mistake...

I made a mistake while starting the topic.
I should have made it more clear.
Even i had not realized this thing before reading the replies.
The same mistake will not be repeated in the future.

Now about the post.
Since i am a cricket fan i was talking about cricket and not soccer or Rugby.
After posting in the forum i realized i made a blunder so i am again posting to correct my mistake.

I wanted to say that Australia are the king in Cricket and no team can defeat them seeing their current form.
Other teams will have to work very hard even to be able to give them some challenge.
I am sure they will again lift the WORLD CUP.

One day cricket is a diff game. A lot depends on how mentally sound your palyers are on the day, and if you've got a crazy middle order batsmen to turn things around.Australia has been there in the past 3 Finals. The lost to Srilanka, won that Semi-Final agaisnt South Africa, and routed India when Ricky Ponting went bananas(And bananas he went!)

I would not say West Indies will win, but W.I and Pakistan are strong outfits.Not happy with the English tough.

Given there will be no MgGrath no Warne its not so cut and dried, esp as this will be in West Indies. a lot hinges on how Lara does he tends to either fire or crash. can't discount South Africa. think it will be down to 1 of these 3 teams. As for Pakistan, they have a lot of talent but not the consistency (england disease!) can't see them getting up, myself.
