He was a murderer, one of those Latin American dictators, that in order to keep their power killed people by the thousands (genocide), repressed any form of opposition, and of course never got punishment for their atrocities. He lived his last days in a very luxurious residence, never bothered by the justice, although he was being supposedly judged.
