An anime wallpaper made by me, feedback welcome

I'm pretty new to Photoshop and all the photo editing software, been using them (by them I'm referring to PS, Fireworks, Illustrator, ImageReady and LightWare) for only about 3 months, but it's really fun doing this kind of work and I enjoy doing it. Here's probably the first piece of work I've done, constructive criticism is welcome, as so with feedback.

It's a wallpaper made for the series "DN Angel"

or was it meant to be that way ?

you might want to change the resolution of that pic. its kind of blurry which really annoys my eyes... @_@ anyways the background and words "DNAngel" don't match the character himself which in all ruins the wallpaper in my eyes.

On to the constructive critism...

i like how you used him in his pose as is.
You have an excellent ability to choose pictures to be used for wallpapers. Keep up teh work and maybe one day i might use your wallpaper Very Happy

Oh, blurry, hm.

Well it was kind of meant for that way after I applied some photographic effects and renderings, but before I used a CRT monitor and it didn't show the blurs, after I switched to an LCD I noticed the blurryness, I wanted some blur but I guess it's a bit too much, and thanks for the comments Smile

That was one of my earliest works, I'll post some newer ones.

On a side note, CRTs suck! Razz
