Hello all!
I suppose this introductory post is a bit belated, because I already plunged into the forums on a couple of topics I know something about (hobbies and pets), but here it is.
The main reason I'm here is because I just recently got a scanner and digital camera, so I can actually take and post pictures of my art/hobby projects and put them up on the web. I want an actual website, though, because I don't really want to stick them on my MySpace account. As much as I like the actual functionality of the service, I don't like the lack of control over how stuff is displayed.
I haven't built a website since about 1998, so I will most assuredly be looking for help and feedback. I'm pretty sure I'll get it, too, because so far this looks like a really good online community. I'm glad I signed up.
