Yes I would say the same as the above post, as if you intend running Vista then you will need at least a gig of ram and a decent graphics card to get it running ok.

Yea, buying more RAM would be good for you. You should notice a huge improvement in performance if and when you get more RAM. From what I've seen on newegg, 1GB of RAM goes for a little over $100 right now on average, but if you've already got just 1 512MB, then just get another 512MB, which might cost you about $50 or so. Just make sure you buy the RAM that's right for your board.

With a graphics card, I don't see what you have now, so I'm assuming that the graphics is integrated? If you're going to get a graphics card, make sure that your computer has the slot you buy the card for. I know my Dell desktop doesn't even have an AGP slot. Confused But if you're looking for a decent graphics card, get one for a PCI-Express x16 slot.

The Pavilion does not have a pciXpress slot, only an AGP slot for graphics...I would also go for 1 GB RAM (DDR400) and a AGP GF 6600 GT or 6800 GT (approx. 80 euros - 130 euros)

Well I think the most importan question is How Much do you want to spend ? and What do you want to dedicate that computer?
I mean There could be a lot of devices or options
For example one very very good 3D graphics card with 256MB $200
more RAM to get 2GB $250
maybe a DVD/RW $120

Please be just to a little more especific about your preferences.
