Hey,
I have got phpBB sessions working successfully around my site and now I want to create a logout link in the main part of the site bit some append_sid thing is supposed to be at the end of the link and it is supposed to be different every time and i dont know what to do. Does anyone know?

Well if you had SMF then it would be easier because it already has a ad on for that. Maybe try Google.. I would still go with SMF because it already has it!

Yes, SMF is great, but a working and popular forum can't be changed that easily... Maybe that's why he wants to keep his phpBB

True True, maybe ask at the PHPBB website?

I think you'll be better off there.
