Before I get started.. I know that this issue has been debated many many times... but I thought why not, lets do it one more time.
I attended a smaller IAA college in Ohio, Youngstown State, and as some of you may know, IAA has a playoff system to determine their eventual Nation Champion. Personally, I think that this creates a very fun way to showcase the 'best" teams in the country. The current bowl locals could still be used where smaller bowl games (the ones played before New Year’s Day) could be used to host the first and second round games, and the bigger bowls could host the semi and final rounds. Obviously, this would mean that more people could get hurt with more games being played each yeah, but I for one would like to shorten the regular season if the playoff system was implemented. I am not a big fan of seeing Notre Dame playing Ball State for example, or Penn State beating up on my YSU Penguins...
What do you all think? Start a playoff system or keep the BCS the way that it is?
