FTP problem...

Hi.
I have always connected to my frihost server with my filezilla, and I have it always configured the same way...
two days ago, I tried to connect but there was a problem...
it connected to the server OK
username and pass OK
but... when it does the command LIST, it gets stuck.
After a while it says:

Error: Could not retrieve directory listing

Does anyone have an idea of what this problem can be?
Is is a problem of the server or of the FTP?

I got that error, too. Since I haven't done much file uploading, I hadn't known. But, a while ago I had to upload various gfx files, and I tried using FileZilla, but I got that same error you got. I had to upload the gfx files through the DirectAdmin upload. Anyway, it isn't too much of a problem (at least for me), but FileZilla is faster and more convenient. Can anybody help on this? Confused
