Whats that? Hi I just got the ok to run a site here and I see something about no forum, does that mean I can't run a freeware forum for my group who go t the site or is there something special about IBV forums that make them different? We use philboard code that is old and outdated but so are we LOL!

Thanks!

You are allowed to install forum software on your Frihost account, but you may not use forum software that you need to pay for (or free trials of such software). We recommend phpBB, but any free forum software is ok.

I guess you mean IPB? You can't host it because it costs money (most copies we find are illegal versions)

Hehe, you recommend phpBB, but I personally recommend SMF Wink

I wouldn't suggest running old and outdated code, it may have security holes in it.

As far as i'm concerned as long as you have permission from bondings to host such a thing then you are allowed to host it. But bondings has to fully state that you are alloud to use it. Also you must have a .txt document that has the lisence in it. But you MUST have permission from bondings

As far as running old and outdated stuff i would just simply install phpbb its newer and safer. Also SMF is a decent forum software.
